Softball vs Texas will be tell-tale of remainder of season

The problem the Cajuns are facing is that they only have 9 games against Power conference teams this season and they are currently 1-4 against the teams they have faced. They will have to go 3-1 in the remaining games to even be considered for top 16, much less top 8. If they do not at least host a regional, it is highly unlikely that they can make it to Oklahoma City. Not impossible, just highly unlikely.

Weather not looking good for Wednesday. Possible we could lose these 2 games to weather. That won’t help us at all.

Remember only 8 teams make it to OKC, easier said than done. Need talent and luck.

We can beat these teams. Will we, though? The Baylor game was eye opening. Hopefully we at least play these games to potentially have a shot at adding to the resume. Otherwise, on the road we will go.
