ALL of our guys are spinning off the ball. Been doing it ALL year. Way to pull happy...but thats kinda been Deggs MO....swing it as hard as u can, “get your swing off” is his term. We had one guy get off the knob of the bat today and commit himself to going the other way...and guess what happen. Base hit to right. These big swings are producing a ton of swing and misses and foul balls. Really think we have some talent, but i think they trying to be someone they arent right now bc everyone is fighting for playing time and trying to be superman. Take note to how we hit in deggs first year here vs the second year. Strike outs went down and walks went way up...and we led the nation in HR and i think SLUG also. We got a long road ahead but it will click eventually.

I agree. Saw a lot of ABs where guys are swinging hard and pulling their heads out. Hero ball instead of taking what you’re given

It was hard to tell based on a poor camera angle, but it looked like that ground ball pulled Lada deep and towards third and I remember thinking damn this is going to be a tough throw across the diamond and then he instead tried to get the runner out at third. Not saying it was the right play I just don’t know based on the camera angle how difficult the throw to first would have been.
