Trying to find something positive to talk about - I really like Lada’s bat control. He always seems to hit it right up the middle.

He's a guy trying to hit gap to gap...middle of the field. I love this approach.

17 strikeouts Wednesday and never really threatened today. Good pitching can take you only so far. They will probably have a breakout game soon with the bats as that is the way this game works. Once that occurs, question will be can they keep it going consistently.

Sad state of affairs at the plate right now. Cajuns are getting chances to make things happen, but just aren't getting it done. Tough break only getting a single on the leadoff hit. If he gets to 2nd on that, the double play likely never happens and the ball up the middle probably goes through with a runner on 2nd. Cajuns simply aren't putting any pressure on the defense K'ing so much.

Never like losing but I thought S. Miss played a heck of a game. They are a good team and played very well today. Really like their pitching. Need to get the game tomorrow and move on.
