I now see that McNeese has announced that they are starting Jonathan Ellison. Ellison is in his 3rd year at McNeese, he pitched in 14 games, 8 as a starter in 2019, where he pitched 45.1 innings and had an ERA of 2.78. In 2020, he pitched in 4 games, with no starts and had a 2.61 ERA. This will be his first appearance of 2021. For his career he is 2-3 with a 2.75 ERA, with 53 K's and 25 Walks. Hitters are batting .212 against him in his career.

Coach Babs stated on ESPN1420 with Scott Prather that Austin Perrin will get the start, but tonight will be all hands on deck.

I drove by the McNeese ballpark couple months ago. Looked pretty beat up to me, but alot can get fixed in 60 days.

yeah....and where the rest of the state schools rank is kind of interesting. But these are early days.
