Sources share that Tulane special teams analyst Chris Couch is joining the program as special teams coordinator / director of quality control and analytics. Couch spent the past five seasons with the Green Wave program, where he also worked as recruiting coordinator.

Also, sources tell us that LSU strength and conditioning assistant Conner Neighbors has accepted a similar role with the Ragin’ Cajun’s program.

Everyone wants to hitch themselves to a hot name. Plus a lot of the position coaches have gone onto P5 jobs in their respective positions

Yeah but I've just noticed that over the years, everyone has started hiring "Analysts" rather than coaches. Isn't that what Viator was hired for also? He's a consultant and doesn't have full coaching duties like being able to recruit.

Bama started the trend its a cheap way to take some pressures off the coaches. This frees them up the build better relationships with recruits.

Think of it this way you could have Leger spending 5 hours a week breaking down film. Or you can Viator do it and have Leger on the road or making calls to recruits
