The Ragin’ Cajuns outdoor track and field team will
host its first meet of the season on Saturday as 10 teams will head to
Lafayette to compete in the Louisiana Classics Meet.

Competing teams include McNeese State, Tulane, Northwestern State, Nicholls
State, UL-Monroe, South Alabama, LSU, Southeastern Louisiana, Xavier-
Louisiana and host team Louisiana.

Field events will kick off with the hammer throw at 10 a.m. on Saturday with
the final running event starting around 6 p.m.
A reunion of former UL track athletes is taking place this weekend as well. Former Ragin' Cajuns track athletes and coaches will be honored at the UL Track complex at 3:30 PM Saturday.
