No it was 2 different announcers. Ken bertholot the the early innings. He called us Louisiana. He was filling in because the regular guy did basketball and came back and did the final 3 innings and ULL’d us to death.
How many UL pitchers have been used these last 2 games? Who gets the start today and who's available after him?
7 yesterday.
None pitched more than 2.1 innings, so some could see action again today.
Of course innings alone don't tell the story. If I heard right, 199 pitches were thrown overall.
4 pitchers on Friday, but Durke ate up 5 innings.
Deggs was bragging in the Foote article that the pitching staff was 15 arms deep. He's probably used 13 of the 15. I guess Jack Burk will open today and then we'll see another parade of arms after his 3 innings. You can't win many weekend series using up your bull pen after 2 games.
