Marlin does not want to do that. Think its will be too hard to get ready to play Friday/Saturday against Little Rock.

Seems like before this year they've played many midweek games, and I thought it was a Sunbelt decision, not his.

Conference office may be involved in this decision. If it is up to the individual teams, both teams have to agree to play the 2nd game. No idea what UTA thought of Game 2 but I bet they were advocating for only 1 game as well. Women were following similar policy due to Covid. Only made up one game of the two at home against UTA and only one of two at Little Rock. Not sure what is happening for the other games that were scheduled. Ark State and Texas State also had 2 games scheduled for this weekend which were postponed.

In years past, once conference play started they would play Thursday/Saturday. One year they moved to Saturday/Monday.

In every case of two games being postponed, only one at most has been made up. That's true for both the men and women.
