UL Baseball With Baseball about to begin, a few reminders

With not everyone being able to get tickets and with all games not being streamed or televised on ESPN+, here are a few reminders.

All Ragin' Cajuns baseball games are available on the radio. Weeknight games are generally on ESPN1420 and weekend games on 96.5 KPEL-FM. Both stations have apps for your smartphone and are free to install. That way you can listen to the Cajuns from Learfield/IMG College wherever you are in the world.

Also, you can sync the radio broadcast to the ESPN+ broadcast if you use the radio app and have a DVR. Just pause the DVR until it marries up to your app. Pretty easy to do. (go to syncmygame.com for more.) That isn't just shameful self promotion. I guarantee you'll get lots more information listening to the radio broadcasts when the Cajuns are on the road.

Brad Topham joins us for his third season of analysis and I'll be around for most of the games while the overlap with basketball continues. I'll be in New Orleans this weekend since basketball is postponed.

    Good reminders.

We are very fortunate that "All Ragin' Cajuns baseball games are available on the radio."

I have no access to that stuff any more since I don't work there.

Jay says he does not have access to old audio as he is no longer an employee of ESPN 1420. However, Scott Prather may have access. My suggestion is email Scott and he may be able to help with your request. Email is simply Scott@espn1420.com

Every year I bring up the overlap between my responsibilities between Men's Basketball and baseball. And, every year there's a period where there's no rest for the wicked (that would be me.) It starts tomorrow.

    Fri-Sun 19-21 Baseball at Tulane
Mon 22 Coach's show OR Men's basketball vs. UTA
Tue 23 Home Baseball vs. La. Tech
Wed. 24 Home Baseball vs. LSU
Thu 25 Travel to Little Rock
    Fri-Sat 26-27 Men's basketball at LR
    Sun 28 Baseball vs. Rice
Mon 3/1 Coaches show with Conference Tournament Previews
    Tue 3/2 Baseball at Tech
    Wed 3/3 Baseball at McNeese
Thu 3/4 Travel to Pensacola (after getting my second COVID shot)
Fri 3/5-Mon 3/8 Sun Belt Conference Tournament (I'll do both men and women's games. If they get knocked out early, it's home for baseball vs. Houston Baptist)
    Tue 3/9 Travel to Starkville
Wed 3/10 Baseball at Mississippi State
    Thu 3/11 Travel to Hattiesburg
Fri 3/12-Sun 3/14 Baseball at Southern Miss
    Mon 3/15 Coach Deggs/Glasco
    Tue 3/16 Baseball at Nicholls
Wed 3/17 A DAY OFF before the four game series with TCU at Russo.

But I LOVE my job and just wanted to share the schedule.

    Thanks for what you do.

Kind of looks like my basketball/softball/baseball schedule for the next couple weeks.

I sure hope they get all the road games streamed.

That depends on the home team. Unlikely many will be. Join the Diamond Club if you want more home games to be on ESPN plus

I agree. Not aimed at Vajun, but people want to complain about something like streaming but don’t make the effort to support our programs.

The espn+ (tulane) broadcaster just said their city covid restrictions limit them to 8-10% capacity.

    So it could be worse!
