That is my opinion and not fact. They are in contact with him regularly (as allowed by rules of course). The offer he received recently is from Loyola of New Orleans. No need to keep that quiet as he made it public on Twitter.
No idea why Marlin hasn't offered him a scholly. Surprised we didn't recruit Tezeno out of North Central harder either. It's a guards game, and we dont have many good ones.

Doesn’t the NCAA require an athletic scholarship instead of academic if he plays?

Damn good question boomer. I hate to see it for the kid and its not his fault but we just seem to either recruit injured guys or we have worst luck of any college program with players getting injured.

Marlin and a lot of D-1 coaches have been soft on him. Not sure why.

He's better than Michael Thomas and I don't think its even that close.

I hope I am wrong, but many on this board see something in Michael Thomas that I just don't see at this point.

The people that see something in Michael Thomas must be listening to the staff, because they love to gush about their freshman. He doesnt see the court enough to even know if he truly belongs. He's been beat out by a walk on which tells me everything i need to know.

The little bit I have seen has not impressed me. Again, he is a true freshman and I am sure it is an adjustment to the D-1 College game from HS, but to me he has a lot of improving to do before I think he will contribute. Not saying he can't/won't, just I have not seen it yet.

He is shooting 20% from the field, 57% from the FT line and his assist to turnover ratio % is below both Au and Wilson. I know it is in limited time, but those numbers do not impress me for a guy who should be handling the rock. Just my opinion.

He played at a tiny 1A school, he has never gone against athletes that can match up.

And that’s something you can’t say about Carter. STM plays a ridiculous schedule year in and year out and Domingue more than holds his own against the best.
