    Default Mais, it's cold, cold...

The weather you guys are having in South Louisiana would make Boone proud....hunker down, and 4 wheel drives don't help on ice...

I'll take snow Any day, as far as winter goes...ice works well in a freezer, a cooler, or in a cocktail, not on power lines or trees...

We are fortunate mostly sleet in south Lafayette. Bad enough. No snowballs with this stuff. But it ain’t the boondocks of Alaska or thé Independence Mtns of northern NV in winter so all good.

Yes indeed fan. Living where we did (you and I), we are in that cusp where you could get snow or ice, snow is not good, but ice is friggin' awful. I would take Snow vs Ice every day of the week. I lived in Charlotte, when we had an ice storm back in 2000 or 2001. I was without power for 4 days. Once the ice gets on power lines it is bad news. The only good thing compared to hurricanes, is that you can take your food from your freezer and just leave it outside.

And your beer always stays cold.

I heard that...the biggest winter biotch to me is ice on top of snow, like permafrost, it lasts for weeks!
