You must have missed that 6 point effort we had in the third quarter. But then again, it is a hallmark of SBC. Just today, 9 point quarter by Ga Southern, 8 point quarters by Texas St., UTA and LR, and 6 point efforts by LA and stAte. And the day's play isn't complete.

On the up side, Cajuns have the best league record by a game and a half over Troy (who should win and cut it to one), and a three game lead on LR and a 2.5 on UTA. Win twice at UTA next weekend, will at least clinch the west. Probably need to win out to hold off Troy for league regular season, they have winless CCU on the road and Ga St at home.

11 wins is playing way above the talent level of the team. It’s never pretty but it’s wins.

Agree the women are over achieving. Regardless of their offensive problems, they are always solid on defense and effort is never question.

I challenge you to look up some other conferences that dont have top 25 teams in them. The SBC is not the exception in that regard about single point quarters.

And they did it without 2 starters including the team leader in points and rebounds for the last 2 games.

Nope. I do enjoy your thought other conferences that don't have top 25 teams probably doing the same, so that makes it ok. Personally don't know, and respectfully, you may justify your opinion with your own research. But scoring like a high school team should not be embraced in a D1 program.

My point is your comments about the SBC is more a unmet expectation you may have with womens basketball in general than just the SBC being some bad leauge, as the conference is not the exception but more the rule for non top 25 teams. Single point quarters are common in D1 programs. If that means they score like high school teams to you, again thats a expectation of yours that the Womens game will not meet outside the top 25 every game. It is what it is.

I must agree with you. Don’t even want to go see the NET rankings on WBB. MBB is a harsh slap how far MBB has fallen collectively with our conference. As they say, you are the company you keep fully applies to SBC basketball on both sides.
