yes it be that time again and excited be me.. hard to believe this is year 15 or 16 that we have been blessed to sit with a Cajun assistant and talk baseball with Cajun baseball fans.. from Wade Simoneaux, John Szefc to my favorite Anthony "Toot Toot" (Bab) Babineaux.

Whereas: i trust most know, i have at times, needed and for sure, enjoyed always coming to the ragin pagin and ask for help by you all writing in your questions and concerns.

Therefore: lets play ragio (grins) and the cajuns play.. "winner mean in 2019"

    11-12p on ESPN1420 call in # (337) 269-1077

Oops... cut and pasted wrong (above) from Feb 5th 2019

Whereas: Well everyone knows about 2020
Therefore: Let’s move on to 2021

Yes, new season is upon us and this year’s show has a few small changes.
New day and time: Saturday mornings at 8a (CST).

    What’s the same?
Show broadcast on ESPN1420 same #269-1077
Anthony will take your questions as he has done for many many years. Also, any questions posted in Ragin Pagin hopefully will be passed on to Coach Bab to be answered..

My thanks to all in the past that have posted questions and to “The Big Fan” Turbine for allowing that to happen in here!

Hey to all Cajun baseball fans.. sounding good (in Florida) so far as just got 1st hit of the year for our team of 2021..

As listening (anyway for one to watch if not at stadium?) if you come up with a question for Coach Bab in the morning please feel free to post it here.

As far as having the shows recorded for later listening, trust me it’s our goal. Been some “atmospheric conditions” that have prevented this so far.

Ps. The reminder be: The “Cajun Corner” (Anthony’s Show) on Saturday mornings 8-9am on ESPN1420 https://espn1420.com
Call in number for asking him your question yourself!

    Pss. Bases loaded!

In the bottom of the tenth, we issued a free pass to Tulane's top hitter. Was that a thinly disguised intentional walk due to being too careful with the guy. If so, what is the thinking there as it placed the winning run on second base? Isn't that a situation most baseball people say you should avoid?

I would never intentionally walk the leadoff batter when you have a one run lead. The worst he can do is tie it up.

There were 2 outs, while it did put the winning run on second, the next batter was 0-4, all by strikeout.

So you're saying he was "due"? Turns out he was.
