Ragin' Cajun Transfers

According to 247 Sports, none of the Cajun players that were in the transfer portal signed with anyone yesterday, that would be Joe Dillon, Reginald Johnson, Brian Smith Jr and Clifton McDowell. Now this could be a couple of things, it could be that they signed and 247 did not have the information yet, or it could be they are still looking.

Does anyone have any information on if and where these players might end up. I know that players who enter the transfer portal have the opportunity to change their minds, but it does not seem as though we will have that many scholarships left for these players.

I would have thought that Joe Dillon and Reginald Johnson would have been picked up, Dillon because of his past productivity and Johnson because of he was a fairly high rated player from last years class. McDowell and Smith might have a harder time, as McDowell was passed on our depth chart by a handful of players and Brian Smith Jr only has 1 year remaining to play.

When the data starts really coming out in a couple years, people will be shocked at the large number of players that enter the portal and never play another snap of football.
