That was great. The Texas State defender was measuring for a block attempt and Butts just dribbled down and out. Defender just threw his arms up in disgust.

Coaching staff did a nice job tonight in Coach Marlin's absence. Seniors Russell (21 points) and Gueye (double double) stepped up. Now, time for the rest to shine tomorrow.

TXST was shooting over 50% in conference. Held them in the 30's tonight.

We also have an issue with whoever runs the shot clock. Friday night of the ASU game might have been the most poor performance I have seen from a clock operator. ASU’s coach didn’t take too kindly to it

You were a prophet with that statement. We thankfully got Butts going as Wilson was hampered by fouls today. He got what I thought was a big offensive rebound right before the questionable charge called on Russell.
