The Ragin’ Cajuns picked up a commitment Wednesday from Ben Wooldridge, a transfer from Fresno State. Wooldridge was the backup last season, losing out on the starting job to Washington transfer Jake Haener.

I obviously don’t know specifics, but am I correct that PWO really doesn’t get a student/athlete anything other than the ability to compete for a scholarship (which is like any other walk on)?
No tuition reduction (especially in his case -out of state), no stipend, etc(??)

PWO gives player a place on roster. Not sure about the rest, except he may be able to claim state residency as he has family or his family is from LA. He, as well as at least one other transfer is paying their way at least for now. Hello FAFSA.org!!
