LOL. At large? With the schedule we typically play (forget Covid) and the teams we typically beat OOC and then add a weak basketball conference. We'd have to run the table beating a couple of P5 teams to even think we'd have a shot at at large. Do you remember the season we had in 16-17? Didn't even sniff one there and our RPI was in the 60's.

And to add insult we had to travel to a team with a lower RPI in the NiT

The team that won the regular season title was the 2017-2018 squad. Teams that won the regular season title but not the tournament were recently slated for the NIT. I am not sure there will be an NIT this year. I highly doubt it.

Used to a magic number of 20 wins (so to speak) for at large ncaa big dance bid. I know that has gotten tougher but with reduced sked this season what would be a ballpark figure?

5 out of our 11 wins are against teams with winning records. Two of those wins are against NAIA competition.

It's safe to say that it's "win the tournament or bust" for an NCAA bid like every other year.

And it’s a sad but safe bet we’d be a 16 or possibly a 15 seed. Bobby doesn’t schedule for at large or a decent seeding.

This year's schedule had road games against Texas, Houston, USM, and VCU cancelled due to COVID. LA Tech and UNO games were the only non conference games originally scheduled to be held due to COVID. Schedule part of RPI would have been fine had they played what was planned. Now RPI has been replaced by NET. NET does not have as large a reliance on schedule as RPI did. Still I agree that were we fortunate enough to win the tournament we would be a 15 or 16 seed. 16 with the play in may actually be preferable financially. That assumes you win the play in. You get a full share for that extra game.

Hell no, if Express and a couple of others didn't do that, then they would have anything to post about during basketball season.

I agree, their should be a moratorium on attacking Marlin while he has Covid.

And they would have lost all 4 of those road games by quite a bit probably. I think we would end up being a 14, all these mid major teams are playing terrible schedules due to COVID.
