"I was originally supposed to travel to Arkansas for this weekend’s games at A-State. When the Little Rock game was added to the road swing, a problem arose. I couldn’t take Monday off from Job #1. Jay’s doing me a solid by swapping duties this weekend. I’ll be back with the women next weekend; Jay, with the men.

Speaking of my “real job”: Next week will be my last week at KATC. After nine years there and 10-and-a-half years in TV news in the Lafayette market, a new adventure awaits. Stay tuned."
