He was featured on the Netflix QB1 season 2 or 3.
Background story
When Lance LeGendre committed to Maryland, the former four-star prospect was seen by many as the quarterback of the future in College Park. For a team that has gone through quarterbacks at a breakneck pace — be it for injuries or ineptitude — there was hope LeGendre would stabilize things.
Now we have 2 QBs with the same initials...looks like LL will be around for a few years...
Happy to have another man in camp, but I remember a former starting QB from Refineryville a few years ago that was less than spectacular and people got all wee-wee’ed up over him before he took a snap. Time will tell.
I’m more concerned about who might hit the portal now.
Someone did...JM is seeking a transfer. Down to 5 in the QB room...
Legendre is gonna be very interesting. Definitely elevates the talent in the QB room. I think Napier puts a very high value on decision making and that is what the average fan doesn't see, because we see the end results, but don't know the details. Did a receiver run the wrong route, or just a lazy route. We don't know if the QB miscounted the men in the box, and should have handed the ball off, instead of thrown it on a RPO.
The very good college QBs, make the right reads the majority of the times and execute.
The elite college QBs, do that AND also when they make the wrong reads can still manage to make it into a positive result.
As all this plays out not only here but across the country, the NCAA should have just let the system remain the same. A talent "clog" is coming across the board and the transfer portal will be the spot. This "free year" is a nightmare, go pull up Kansas or better yet, the Vols' ster fire (20+ outbound). How a coach manages this uncontrollable mess is paramount.
I'd find a way to get CF on the field this year. He came in as an obvious leader, but I can see him headed south to Nicholls also. Don't see him riding the pine to be a fourth year sophomore.

I thought Refineryville was dissolutional. Vol fans are a whole other level of meltdown at present. The pro/con Fulmer fans are at it. When terms like eunichs (abet misspelled), Branch Dividians, Lion of Knoxville, negavol and of course McDonald's are being used, and invoking General Neyland into the arguements, it's popcorn worthy for half time reading during our basketball game tonight. Steele has to be hired since nobody will want to enter that train wreck.
"May the Arena of Neyland and its gladiators in Orange and White rise from the ashes like a scorn Phoenix. May they rain down upon thy foes with the wrath of Zeus and instill the fear of him in all that oppose us".

I had mentioned this on one of the recruiting threads, that the reason we only had a relatively low number of commits was due to the ability to pick up transfers during this covid season. Looks like this strategy is paying off. Never know about transfers, but I sure like the ratings they had coming out of HS....much higher than our average recruiting class.
