Details: Officers of the MCPD executed a search warrant on Levee Rd in Morgan City. The warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation conducted by MCPD Narcotics Section Detectives. Upon executing the warrant all above subjects were present in the residence. Cocaine and marijuana was found in numerous places throughout the residence, along with paraphernalia such as a digital scale and packaging material used to prepare cocaine for sale, along with cash in excess of two thousand dollars. There was also a sixth month old infant at the residence when the warrant was executed. MCPD officers were assisted by St. Mary Task Force Agents.
No bond set on any of the four subjects yet.

Charge: 1.) Simple Rape
Details: The MCPD received a complaint of a rape from a female victim. Detectives investigating the case located the suspect and executed a search warrant at his residence to recover evidence and he was brought to the Detective Division for questioning. After being questioned the suspect was booked into City Jail for Simple Rape with no bond set yet. The victim was not injured.
