Thanks. Would our branding efforts also have predated us being UL? Was the university system always the same name

No the University of Louisiana System was established AFTER the court said "no law says you can change your name."

ps no law prohibited it either, and it had been done several times prior.

Why are we re-hashing this. Let’s just go with what is legal and works. Louisiana is the brand. UL is something that the university can’t push. UL however; is the natural fall back to Louisiana. It’s going to take more time but we’re seeing more UL all the time and fewer ULL, and UL Lafayette

-------and so on the subject of posts-----I love the UL athletics threads of all sports---- general university----humor of others and yes even oneself----general knowledge (the great flood)---other schools and updates of various subjects for them----Recruiting for sure----intra happenings of athletics----oh the Monday morning QBs----observations from some who have never played or coached and still have made just so much sense and at times very stupid-----Thanks T-Bine!!!!!!!!!
