lets say the rule that you dont have to sit out when transferring is approved 1 feb, but i already signed to transfer on 1 jan, and may have even enrolled lets say 15jan, i.e. signing up thinking i would and being fully prepared to need to sit out (obviously barring any of the other scenarios, hardship/graduation etc)

Latrell Bankston is officially a Ragin' Cajun.

The former Iowa State defensive tackle announced on Twitter last weekend that he was committing to play for the University of Louisiana football team. The transfer was made official on Tuesday.

Houston is an exceptional institution so I doubt it’s the academics. I’m sure something will come out but it’s likely just a better fit from his perspective.
