It’s never a bad thing when Louisiana is able to come up with a bowl win, but after being disrespected in the rankings all year, and after getting an okay bowl spot despite its only loss coming to Coastal Carolina, it struggled to put the game away up 24-7 in the second half.

The team came through when it had to, but it would’ve been nice to have made a big statement to earn the national respect the program deserved.

Agreed. The bowl game was not impressive. I think if Ragas doesn't fumble when we're up 24-7, we might have gone on to blow them out.

Two observations. That fumble recovery created momentum. The second is I’m not disrespecting the Roadrunner QB who clearly was very mobile and very accurate.

Too often people disrespect their opponents. Disrespect your opponents and you disrespect yourself. After all beating bad opponents isn’t special.
