They do not count non D-1 games in your record. 5 of our 7 games being quad 4 is really bad. Majority of Sun Belt is Q4 as well, this is why the sun belt will never get itself out of the basement.

The P5 are rewarded for losing to the Blue Bloods of basketball. The rest are penalized for losing to the same Blue Bloods but beating the non P5 teams. That’s how you get a break even team at large with a seeding of below ten. They then lose to the Blue Bloods like a 16 seed.
