If yards is your only metric, which I guess it is for Turbine. One could say Mitchell isn't close to Hester in terms of return TDs. Six is quite a wide margin for special teams TDs, especially when the one with six more TDs has 400+ less returns.

Brian Mitchell is a Top 10 return return specialist of all-time, but he is nowhere near being heads and shoulders the best ever in that spot.

Flash in the pan compared to Mitchell.

He helped his team win with great field position for years and years.

Many touchdowns over a short period of time compares little to "sustained" output of great field position where they also scored.

I don't think this is true. Outside of this year, when is the last time Brady has worked with an all pro level receiver? Randy Moss. The mantra for the Patriots over all these years was that they seemed to be able to plug in guys who you didn't want and they could put something together when they needed to. They did the same thing on defense.

4 years ago when Billy Napier left Alabama for Arizona State, Steve Sarkisian got the OC job at Alabama. Now that Sarkisian is headed to Texas, will Saban offer the job to Napier and will Napier take it?

Assuming that 'Bama HC is Napier's #1 priority, then it depends on which situation makes him more attractive: as an asst under Saban, whom Saban may or may not be able to appoint as his successor; or as a head coach, particularly if Napier thinks he can get us into the Big XII.

Because if Napier can make us competitive in the XII, then he has a good shot at 'Bama. Under Saban, maybe, maybe not.
