I'm not sure 'Bama would hire an assistant. They want a proven HC, probably from a P5.

If, indeed, Napier's dream is to pilot the 'Tide, then that would explain why he turned down Auburn. It would be poor form to jump from Auburn to Tuscaloosa, it would cause problems from the getgo.

On the other hand, UT would be a nice springboard to 'Bama.

That's a tough one. Always hard to prepare for a new coach but we've seen what Sark has done at USC and Washington. Herman has under achieved so far but they looked good in the last game. I just want the Longhorns to repeat what our last B12 opponent did this year
