probably be undefeated if not for the quack quack floater that was intercepted deep in our territory against Covid Carolina. I do believe he lost a game or two in his sophomore year. But what does that say about our current recruiting if we can't recruit a QB to unseat an average Hud QB recruit? yep we are into the off season

And we probably would have lost a couple or three games if not for his feet, decision making, and some very good throws. This may or may not be an "average Hud recruit," but he is definitely an above average G5 recruit at quarterback, and by a lot, and his numbers, QBR, and record all prove it.

Odd that you leave out we would be undefeated if Mitchell simply catches the pass that hit him in the hands for the first down..but I guess since that hud recruit is considered nfl talent that would totally blow up your narrative.

    21-4
im guessing 21-4 is a reference to Lewis’ record as a starter? could the win in nov 2017 against USA be added to that as i see no other qb listed on stat sheet and seems a few times in 2018 he should have received credit if not technical starter but “significant contribution” (tx st and monroe games at least)

A starting QB's record, which is really the record of the team, is not a direct reflection of the QB. The QB could be average or below average and the team could have the very same record. The record of a team does not make any one player on the team better or worse. Also, it goes the other way too, a terrible team may have a great QB.

Agreed, although it would be unusual at best to have a team with a really good multi-year record with even an average, much less below average, QB. However, Lewis' stats are also considerably above average. This is true even when comparing him to all Div 1 QBs and really stands out when comparing him to G5 QBs. In addition, Napier has stated publicly, and reports are privately, as well, that Lewis is a skilled QB and even better team leader.

You are challenged to find a team with a crappy or below average QB like you believe we have and a record of 21-4 over a two year period that said QB started all games.

21-4 is the teams record over the last 2 years.

Levi started 3 games in 2017 when hud pulled the redshirt. Won against south al and lost to ole miss(injured game) and ga southern(benched for Davis).

He played in all the games in 2018 but Nunez started every one.

So his record as starter is actually 22-6.

Off the top of my head:
-Notre Dame for several years before current Book
-LSU for even more years before Burrow
    Florida before Trask
    - NFL Bears LAST Super Bowl team
    .......

    And AGAIN
I PERSONALLY DO NOT think our current QB is “crappy or below average”

This was LSU's record the three years before Burrow. Had more losses in one year than Cajuns did in two. I haven't checked, but I suspect Florida is much the same.

    2017 SEC 9 4
    2016 SEC 8 4
    2015 SEC 8 5
    2014 SEC 8 5

It's not impossible to have a really good record without an above average QB, but, it is very much the exception.

Off the top of your head, you have failed the test miserably. Now back to research, I feel quite confident the results will be the same.

True but Levi doesn't resemble average or bad.

We know that, however the only reason for one to be constantly harping for a QB change would be that the harper believes so.
