Is there any rule where a Conference Championship can't be held after a bowl game is played?
Just curious.

I have a similar thought. They should try and have the championship down the road.
they should be disqualified from bowl games
I like it. Some states arent even.starting their HS football.season until feb. So.why not
should hit them in the pocket, make them reimburse UL for all expenses related to this game especially since the team is already there. Also make them forfeit the game so that they can not show a perfect season due to their stupidity, finally take them out of bowl consideration s they do not cost other schools in a few weeks when they try this stunt again
Well we have a team to take Western Kentucky's place and even McNeese from earlier; they have become the Chicken Shi_s!
When their coach started whining about having to play Troy I figured this was an easy way to protect their record and after Troy almost beat them ... well, we aren't playing.
They are going to play it right?
I mean is there anything outside of venue preventing the game in the post season?
I would refuse to play them on their turf.
They forfeited.
You realize, of course, that App State has won every Sun Belt champeenship game that's ever been played. Just sayin'.
And, let me add that I cannot believe the SB didn't just let the next team in the East Div. play yall in Lafayette. That's what the Pac 12 did. Of course, the Pac 12 may be worse than Conf. USA, and has been for the last few years. They shoulda called me; I'da told the commish what to do.
All kidding aside, I can't wait for next year's reg. season game in Lafayette. I will be there, if the good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise. Should be fun.
