Agree it was great to hear Jay in that capacity again. Hearing “End of the Line” for the bumper music definitely put a smile on my face. I had to go in and out a little bit, did “Gimme dat ding” get played as well? I also only got to hear part of the Gill interview, if any kind of archive gets posted please let us know.

Gil dismissed every question. Not much to hear.

Jay professionally asked all the right questions with a detailed preface and basically got no answers.

Wow....SBC commissioner sounds like a DUD! Almost worse than recent politicians! Take a stand and get behind it. No room for tip toeing around when you are commissioner of an FBS conference!

He was pretty succinct about a couple of things.

1. Like many of us, he is adamant about not having a separate championship for the G5. He gets the fact we wouldn't get the kind of pub we got this year if we had separate championships.

2. We have a tendency to do what the SEC does. They are leaning toward playing only conference games (4 game series) with no mid week games once league play begins. He said he was not in favor of mirroring that, saying midweek games were very important to the league.

(of course the pandemic will have plenty to say about that. I was, to be honest, happy with his answers on both topics.)
