The Lafayette Parish School Board voted unanimously Wednesday to keep N.P. Moss Middle School a Middle School.
The board approved a motion introduced by Superintendent Burnell LeMoine that would seek an alternative site for a planned Comprehensive Career and Technical High School. As part of the motion, a STEM (Science, Technology, Enginerring and Math) academy would be created at N.P. Moss.
The Lafayette campus of Louisiana Technical College will serve as an interim location for the technical high school, until a permanent location is finalized.
