Pretty much out of nowhere. But, he has expressed dissatisfaction with the conference. There is talk of Boise going AAC for football.

There’s more to the story. Bottom line, Boise is about to drop from relevancy. I’m enjoying reading the Auburn spin. Also, remember Boise was among the first to lay people off when COVID hit. The AAC was Harsin’s thing and burned bridges apparently with folks out west. Money wasn’t there to support trying to join a conference that didn’t want Boise. AAC football only was a sticking point for their other sports.

Question is who ends up at Boise. It's a pretty good gig for a young up and comer.

The comments were telling. Boise may be at a crossroads.

What exactly does Boise bring into the AAC? They’re several years past their prime. The state isn’t a football talent pool for sure.

And, as I read in a article earlier today, they're 1500 miles from what would be the closest AAC opponent, Tulsa!

Werent we just debating this not that long ago that AAC members needed to be all sports?

Evidently not. The reports I have read indicate that the negotiations between Boise and the AAC for football only have been extensive and overall positive.
