I wouldn't be surprised if Auburn's boosters scared him a little bit. Like Texas, Auburn has boosters that make the real decisions. Someone like Billy Napier doesn't want to deal with that foolishness. That's the beauty of Saban. Both at LSU and Alabama, he told the boosters to leave him alone and let him do the job they hired him to do without interference. Seems that the request has worked out quite well for both parties.

......Can’t remember the exact quote but remember the goal being a yearly top 25 contender.....think he might have gotten the foot in the door on that this year......what about Dabo to Alabama and Nap to Clemson?
