A lot of negativity lately from all outlets.... No mention of the record setting win total?
After beginning the 2020 campaign with a top 25 win over Iowa State on the road, the No. 19 Ragin’ Cajuns put an exclamation point on a historic season with a 31-24 victory over UTSA to win the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.
“A lot of good things today, and certainly a great way to cap off kinda the final chapter here of 2020,” Louisiana head coach Billy Napier says.
You can tell, Foote was at the game.
Maybe he has another article that is more of an overview of the game, as i get analyzing the detail and is good work, but this is second article i have read of his post bowl and he doesnt mention our double digit win season?
Give it a break would you? Foote does an outstanding job covering UL. If you read back through his recent articles, you may indeed find his talking about the double digit win seasons or at least the chance to get there. He's a regional writer not national...With the interest in Napier, there have been numerous mentions of his record especially last years and what he's done this year. The double digit wins information is out there....
If a writer was at the game, he is much more likely to write about the game.
How many times have the Cajuns had back to back 10 win seasons? Enjoy the ride like baseball a few long years ago. Just enjoy.
Lorenzo McCaskill wasn’t about to hide his feelings.
He didn’t actually say the names of any of his teammates, but it was pretty obvious which one topped his wish list.
No big surprise, senior running back Elijah Mitchell would be near the top for a lot of UL football coaches, players and fans.
