After not signing a quarterback in the Class of 2020, UL coach Billy Napier used the early signing period for his 2021 class to ink two.

On Wednesday, QB Hunter Herring, a product of Ouachita Christian School in Monroe, was one of eight National Letter of Intent signees announced by the Ragin Cajuns. UL also added two transfers from Power 5 programs, Tyrone Lewis Jr., a safety previously at Kansas State, and ex-TCU receiver John Stephens Jr.
