On March 16th at approximately 10:00 p.m. a robbery was committed at D & K Food Mart on the 700 block of Ann St. New Iberia. As the owner was closing two black males entered the Store. One brandished a handgun and demanded money from the owner. The other suspect went behind the counter and took a substantial amount of money. The suspects then fled the store on foot down twenty arpent .
The suspect with the handgun was wearing a red "hoodie", black jacket, grey running pants, red gloves and white shoes. The second suspect was wearing a black "hoodie", black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.
