You can’t be high on the recruiting rankings if you’re full up on signing day. We’re not signing 25. So far mid teens. Looking at the class for quality and need instead of numbers.

Napier is at 10 with ESP but he is not done.

You can’t sign the 25 maximum every year. That would put you at 100 in 4 years. Even more with red shirts. Naturally there attrition related to grades, discontent, and not being good enough to make the team. For years Bama signed 25 every year. Obviously Nick had to have some hard conversations with pretty good players who just aren’t ever going to start.

We are 3rd in average rating behind App and coastal but app signed 22 and coastal signed 17 and 247 shows us signing 8...rankings takes in quantity as well as rating. Also not included in the rankings is the WR from TCU, S from Kansas state and TE from Texas a&M
