City-Parish President Joey Durel announced a series of town hall meetings beginning next Monday, March 22 at locations throughout Lafayette Parish.
The theme of the town hall conversation is Lafayette Consolidated Charter: Is it working for you, why or why not?
The meetings will be held throughout the parish over the next six weeks. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
"These meetings are a result of conversations that I have had with constituents in collaboration with Councilmen
Don Bertrand, Keith Patin, and Kenneth Boudreaux.
We all recognize there is a need in our community to discuss this issue, and so we are looking forward to hearing about our constituents' experiences with consolidation and questions about the future," said Durel as he announced the series of meetings.
