    I think the Auburn job is much more attractive than the South Carolina job. This possible opportunity for Coach Napier really makes me nervous! However, if Billy has any hope of one day being the Head Coach at Alabama, taking the Auburn job would probably put an end to that dream.

    Clemson HC would not be out, but I don't think Dabo is anywhere near retiring.... I haven't even heard speculation, but Saban ain't no spring chicken. When he goes, Auburn could be very competitive against Alabama, if the next head coach can hang on that long.

    I think Auburn has more resources than Carolina, but the task to win the SEC west every year is much more difficult than in the east....if I am Napier I would hold out for Tennessee gig....great resources and way more upside to be a power house in the east

    You're right; maybe the best option is to build up that resume and wait till bama calls. I like it.

    Napier won't take the Auburn job, because of recruiting in AL against Saban.
