Agree that LSU-S was better but they only played 7 guys while LSU-A had a little more depth. That probably is why the games played out the way they did with LSU-S being very even until about the 10 minute mark when we pulled away while with LSU-A we jumped out to the quick lead and then maintained about a 15-20 point gap as we rotated the bench in. They are both top tier NAIA programs and showed they have talent and were a better test than Loyola, Louisiana College, Panhandle State teams we have seen in the past few seasons early non conference slate. I think LSU-S/LSU-A are on par with some of the SWAC schools we have played recently. I would say if you dropped those 2 teams into SWAC conference play they win games and maybe even finish mid pack.
Can’t get around we’re playing just better than NAIA teams. Teams we should beat by more than around 15 and 10 points.
