Really glad to hear it!! I hope we can keep this guy for a long time. He’s going to make Ragin Cajuns a household name.
Louisiana Ragin' Cajun head coach Billy Napier, who reportedly interviewed with South Carolina today, releases statement, says he's remaining with the Ragin' Cajuns.
Boudreaux is a genius.
So glad to hear. 2021 schedule has Liberty in VA, UT in Austin, and Ohio U. here. Another chance to put Louisiana on the map. Of course this is considering the schedule doesn't alter because of Covid again.
a quick review of past games shows that the worst at home conference loss napier has suffered is ten point. (can someone please double check) also Hud 23, and Bustle 33?
Reports out of SC is that they were prepared to offer the job to Napier on Saturday. The AD team watched the game Friday and when they saw the end of game management they said.... Cancel his flight... He never actually made it to the interview
J/k of course but I for one am thrilled.. I predict we will be in a NY6 game next year and beat UT
He'll be paid next season, after UL is preseason ranked top 25 and the bandwagon starts filling up with folks who haven't had anything to do with the program in 5 years or more. Winning=$
Since I'm moving back home, I for one will be a new contributor and season ticket holder.
Maybe move some of his bonus money for this year into next year as salary bump for him and a few bucks for his staff. No sense in taking a huge tax hit on bonus money when it could be moved to something else. I'm no accountant, I just play one on this board...
