Quarterbacks need to think one play ahead and coaches need to always think two plays ahead.

Coaches must know (not an option) if they have any intention of punting on fourth down or not, and they need to know this before third down.

If not, you run the ball on on third, or at the very least make,sure the QB either takes a sack or slides INBOUNDS.

The teams goal at that point (on third down) is to run as much time off the clock run or pass.

Incompletions are not an option.
