Would have been 70-13 without the muffed punt...lol.
So i saw that a game last season against texas southern was record with cajuns scoring 77 points. Is it safe to say that 70 is a record for conference play as well as for a road game (in the modern era that is)
We beat "college"... Was it these guys? Lol
Great job by the team finishing this game by halftime, especially with the Covid issues that affected the depth chart. A win at App State keeps momentum going as we head to Coastal Carolina for the championship game. We will need all hands on deck for the remainder of the season. It truly is disappointing that more fans couldn't see this team in person.
Sir, you have nailed a problem COVID will leave us. Many of us on here and TOS have connections from when we attended UL, UL was good in a particular sport, support that sport and others.
Being ranked in whatever sport brings the casual fans. That's been proven in our other than football sports. We're losing a generation of fans in football.
Which makes the replacement when Napier moves on the most important hire our athletic department will make coaching wise. Have to keep the big 'mo going.
As far as next year, Napier will be here, Cajuns win the last 2 games and their bowl game, finishing the year ranked between 15 and 17. Levi returns. Vaccines work, back to normal. Preseason mags hit mid summer, Cajuns preseason Top 20 and picked to win SBC again. Season tickets soar, stadium fills up, and the money returns. Cajuns upset Texas, and away we geaux!
