Another year of hope already crashing in the first game. Something needs to change. There was a day when the Cajuns could compete with anyone. We haven't seen those since Marty Fletcher, Bobby Paschal, and even Jesse Evans. Don't tell me it can't be done in today's world. They said we couldn't win in football....to be happy with mediocre. Well that has changed with hiring of Napier. We can win on a consistent basis.

The same can happen in basketball. Need someone who can both coach and recruit. They are out there.

A "Billy Napier" of basketball is out there.

It’s about what I thought we would be. There is absolutely no shooting on this team. Marlin just recruits these wing guys that do NOTHING. Like I though, Jacobi gordon is a non factor and not getting any minutes but Marlin calls him the best shooter on the team. Gueye is still out here in year 2 plying ME ball. He takes so many bad shots. We are in for a long long long year

Was the issue last year, we don’t guard the perimeter because we are too slow to recover and get in front of guys driving to the lane causing foul issues.
