Randy Charpentier, who I had played tennis with a number of times since moving back, passed away today while playing tennis.

I think the Lord has made a bunch of calls this year that are hard to accept. Everyone's faith is being tested. Just had my mom's memorial service last weekend and four days laterthis.

I am finding out my faith is strong. And, for that, I am grateful.

I didn’t know him well but had drinks a couple times with him at tailgates and what not. Was always upbeat and positive from what I can recall. I’m so sorry to hear this. What was the official cause of his passing?

Randy had heart issues. Had a pair of stents put in about two weeks ago. He loved to play tennis and did so last Saturday. Did it again yesterday and started feeling bad about 30 minutes in. He passed before he got to the hospital in the ambulance.
