Agreed with one comment. Losing to the Hoax is possible because it’s won on the field. Still beating the Hoax isn’t a big achievement, but losing almost always exposes your shortcomings. That’s why I refer to the game as the canary in the coal mine game. A loss certainly is concerning.
So i couldnt remember hate week or even playing ULM/northeastern when i was in school..i thought maybe i went home for thanksgiving and missed it or was studying for finals? So i went back and checked and the entire time i was in school not one game against them, but we beat the rustonian puppy killers four straight.
It’s one of UL coach Billy Napier’s favorite things to say.
“The past is the best indicator of the future.”
There’s a lot of truth in that statement. Typically, few adhere to considering the historical aspects of a matchup more than me.
I hope the players have more passion for this matchup than I do. I can't lie some years I get up for the game but 0-8 is hard to pump up.
This will be ULM's SuperBowl.
Louisiana 45
ULM 17
According to Kevin Foote the UL Depth Chart is out for the ULM game and Peter Leblanc is not listed nor is Chandler Fields. I don't see the depth chart yet.
Neither is Emani Bailey or Dalen Cambre nor is Eric Garror or Tyler Guidry. Cambre is a big loss as he is the holder on XP and FG's. Our backup has been Rhys Byrns.
We shall see.
Do you think its Covid or something else?
