Iowa state was obviously an impressive win that most are writing off as a fluke. UAB win has lost some luster because they haven’t played much. Nothing we’ve done in the conference is all that impressive.

I want to be ranked high like everyone else here but I understand why we are where we are. Iowa state has a hand full of quality wins. Just because we beat them doesn’t mean we get credit for those wins. We have 1.5 quality

ISU has 5 quality wins
2 quality losses.

Ok good analysis, but Coastal only has 1.0 quality win, against us. Kansas is 0-8, so you can't count that. How is it they are ranked 14/16th and higher than us? Can't use the premise that they beat us here and have a better record, because we beat Iowa St. there and have a better record.

Just saying that rankings don't seem to use the same ranking logic across the board for all teams. One is strength of schedule, while the other is wins, while another is how bad you beat the other teams.....

They don't seem to be using the same metrics across the board when ranking.

Regardless they’re important for branding and recruiting. You can’t get around that. Seeing Louisiana in the top 25 is worth millions. Now that ESPN is using it we’re not getting that bonus.
