Thread: Matt Deggs loves his pitching staff coming out of fall ball

  1. UL Baseball Matt Deggs loves his pitching staff coming out of fall ball

To be honest, UL coach Matt Deggs wasn’t very comfortable with the processes necessary for the fall baseball season during a pandemic.

“It’s hard to get off and gain traction immediately, because there’s a bunch of different protocols you have to follow now,” Deggs said. “You may have everybody or you may not. For a planner like myself, it’s incredibly hard to prepare for.”

"When you look at our pitching staff, it’s as good as any staff I’ve been around and as deep as any staff I’ve been around"

    That's encouraging

I thought it would clear up by last summer. With all the talk about the virus not liking the heat. That turned out not to be the case. Now we’re into the winter and cases are going up.

I’ll be excited to see any UL events this school year.
