Greg Williams from Lafayette Christian is transferring home after 3 years at St Johns. Also freshman Joe Charles from Carencro aQnd Carter Dominque (walk on) from STM will be coming in. Up until the recent Wilson and Butts announcements we were at the scholarship limit. The portal is at unprecedented highs due to the new transfer rule and Covid eligibility. There is also the chance Russel and Gueye could return and not count against the scholarship limit, although most think they will be moving on.

Question: Is this the norm now for all colleges, P5 and G5? It takes a while for teams to gel with new incoming faces and if every year, you basically have a whole new team, basically 4 new starters, how will a team ever be able to achieve the ultimate goal? I know the Fab 5 were phenomenal in the early 90's, but that was an anomaly and not the norm.

The Cajuns are basically playing with a whole new team every year. So is the norm for all colleges or is this a Marlin issue? If all colleges, then I don't have a problem with the results. But.......

Man I’m confused as hell now. Ty Harper was never on the same team as PJ Hardy. Devin butts was suspended two games this past season. I don’t remember Harper ever being suspended. What am I missing?

I did cross up Harper and Butts on the suspension. A suspended player usually doesn’t stick around.

PJ’s suspension was the beginning of his last year and allegedly had nothing to do with social issues.
