Read my post, I think I gave pretty good info/details on Fields. He was the only QB besides Levi to play. He went 0 for 4 in the air but two were dropped. The other two were thrown to get away from pressure. Main issue he had was taking too long with his decisions. Once again, all the guys he played with were backups, just like he. Impossible to judge how he would perform when it counted from what we saw today. Hopefully he gets another chance to get into the game next week.

Hard to tell how Chandler would have performed with the other regulars in there. In fact, in post game Coach lamented that one of the few disappointments he had was the way the backups on offense finished the game. Still when we are in a good place when we have to search for things to be concerned about post game.
Good players adjust to the speed of the game. Lewis took some time to adjust, but is now a solid D1 QB. We do not know if Fields or Jaiave can play at this level, but we know they will struggle until they play a few games. As a top 25 team, we do not need to find out if these guys can play. We have a guy who is a proven player. The other two are younger than Levi so at some point they will get their chance.

    This is fun.

I didn’t get to do it when we played Georgia Southern. The game was too close and I forgot to take it all in.

But how many people checked a box on their Cajun fan list in seeing the ranked Cajuns play and win a game at home? That’s very cool.

Of course this season happens in 2020 she we can only have limited fans.

I hope, wish, that we’d have a packed house in any other year.

7-1 is awesome. I think the team showed improvement today.
We may gain a spot or two on the AP top 25 and maybe we will enter on the Coaches poll. Way to go Cajuns!

But our 18-4 record QB is turrible. As shown today , he’s the best we have and I’ll back him 24/7.

Levi had a pretty good day. Not perfect by any means, but successful. You are just trying to invite a negative reaction when it's not warranted. I can't speak for everyone that posts things about LL, but if he had played poorly, I would have no problem saying anything about it. He missed some plays, but overall played a good game. No need to try and egg people on when it's not needed.

Ragin' Cajuns Re: 7-1 is fun

As far as I know, Chandler Fields was the only other QB that got to play. Went 0-4.

I think people become spoiled and the limbo bar always gets lowered. I remember the national attention the 4 minute mile garnered. Today that’s pretty good for high school in some districts. The populace wants better always. If not we wouldn’t see so many detractors about this team.

So maybe with a much better economy, we packum in. But not likely.
