A Church Point boy says he fell asleep on the way to school Monday and woke up to find himself all alone on his school bus.

9 year old Devon Lilly takes the bus from his home in Church Point to an alternative school in Crowley. He says his bus driver was nowhere in sight when he woke up, so he ventured to the road looking for his school, not realizing he was actually in Rayne. A passerby noticed him walking and stopped him in the roadway.

"He [asked] if I wanted to go to Crowley or did I want to go home and I said I wanted to go home because I was scared," Devon said.
